Greetings;
We take delivery on our 379fl somewhere around the first of next month. Have to have it delivered since I don't have a truck big enough to haul this beast.
Looking forward to some space.

Hiya Fred! Welcome to the forums. Congrats on your new Solitude
I love the floorplan of the front living RV's. I too, wish I had had a truck to haul the beast!
Don't get me wrong I do love the 305...it's roomy, but that 379 is just BEAUTIFUL!
I know y'all will enjoy.

Well we picked a nice campsite for our new home. Next to a lake and a small park next to it. Excited to move in. I did notice that the propane tanks on the 379 seem a bit small for such a large camper. I hate the idea of getting out in the middle of a snow storm and refilling one.
I know the tanks will switch automatically but is there an easy way to tell when one tank is empty? Maybe a bigger tank sitting outside?
Yes fred(s) -- You can have a tank, a large one, installed outside the 5W, IF your campground will allow it.
Any propane dealer will be able to fix you up, I would think.
Propane ain't cheap though. You may decide to heat primarily with electric, especially if you are not individually metered.

We will be on metered electric. I will just have to keep my eye on the tanks I guess.
