Extended Warranty - on 2019 Solitude 310 GK

We have paid for but not taken delivery yet of a 2019 Solitude 310GK, and have purchased the ultimate extended warranty with the 30 day escape clause.

I am reading through the fine print of what is included and or excluded.

I am interested hearing from those who have purchased the extended warranty and have used it, and from whose who have not used in over the 6 year life. Also interested in hearing from those who did not purchase the extended warranty and wish they had done so because they had a problem after the 1year bumper to bumper GD warranty expired, that could have been claimed on the extended warranty.

Thanks for your help in evaluating the value for a $3600 premium.

We bought our used rig last year and paid roughly 4K for an extended warranty. It was marketed to me as a total peace of mind policy. Worst decision I've ever made. Our Norcold fridge quit on the second trip with our rig. Norcold themselves covered it because the warranty company was disputing wether the fridge was defective before the dealer sold it to us. One month later a rock or something got caught under one of the kitchen slide wheels and tore a nice hole in the linoleum. The warranty won't cover the estimated $6000 cost to repair because nothing is broken. If the slide wheel was damaged or something maybe. Even my dealership was aghast they wouldn't cover it. One of the AC units suddenly quit working a month ago on a trip. The tech found a corroded wire in the circuit board and $380 later it was fixed. The warranty refused to cover it because AC wiring is not specifically mentioned in the covered items. The warranty was marketed to us as covering virtually anything. I did read the pamphlet was I admit I didn't read the entire actual warranty was frankly wasn't available until pickup. I'm deciding wether to go down to the dealership and see if a partial refund is available.

Sorry to hear about your repairs, especially the kitchen repair. We did take it after asking a bunch of questions. It is always a crap shoot, as you are hoping not to have to use it but hoping that it will cover. Just after we purchased, I was told that the rates for the warranty were going up due to the level of claims.
