Water Leak Bedroom Slide 29RS
I noticed water sitting underneath the slide on the ledge where the seal is. If i spray the side of the trailer it starts dripping. Upon further investiagation I found it was dripping out of the corner of the T molding. I removed the T molding and found that the Mylar sealant tape had water underneath it in spots, pulled the tape off and it looked wet under the window. Havent even used the trailer yet, the caulking around it looks perfect. Can the window leak from other than the outer edges? I"m at a loss what to do!

Is it a new unit?
Take it back to the dealer and have them do a leak check on it.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com

I bought it last October, but the dealer is 1200 km away and local dealer wouldnt do it unless you bought it from them. I dont want to wait 4 months for repairs so I'll fix it myself if possible, havent even used the trailer yet.

I would contact Grand Design and get them to authorize a mobile tech.
