Bent Spindle or out of round Hub?
I pulled the wheels on a new 2019 297RSTS to verify the brakes were working properly, grease the hubs ( I know now not to use the grease kerks and repack them manually)
One wheel would spin freely 2/3 of the way then hang up to the point I would have to use both hands to turn it, then it would spin free again, 2/3 of the way.
What gives?

That seems to happen when the brakes are too tight, and one of the brake pads makes more contact than the other. Generally, they even out (mostly) the more miles on it. Have you backed off on the adjustment at all?

I did, but it did not seem to help. It almost feels as if something is out of round.

Bent spindle will generally spin smoothly. Probably the drum isn’t round.

Ill pull them off and swap drums to see if the issue follows the drum. I need to pull them anyways to check the brakes for grease and repack the bearings.

Drum is out of round. I had one of these and called Lippert who sent me a complete drum, bearings seal and all.
