I put a switch in the bathroom. It involved a whole new circuit and a controller (and a few wires so I could activate/deactivate the pump and have an indicator light for when it was on).

I used a diagram klenger had posted some time ago.....

Thanks Folks - still on my list to do - a few stripped awning screws got in the way.

I put a wireless relay behind the main WP switch. Now I have two more "buttons" I can put anywhere I like. Worked great, cheap, and a simple install. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ZRXJY2

Just a thought. What about relocating the switch at the Nautilus panel to go into the bathroom? Not sure if it is lighted though, but from what you describe on using the tank/pump you probably wouldn't miss the switch outside?

Darth - in doing this do the existing switches still work or is it use the remote only?

Allyn - thanks for the suggestion but I would miss the nautilus switch, both for winterizing and using the exterior hose. We normally leave our pump off until we need to use the water.

Good idea. But I'd forget the remote or where I put it. argh!!!!

On my list of things is to use that remote to power my rear view camera so I can turn it off when not using the rig. They are real handy devices.

The existing switch will work (and will still light up when activated remotely). However the pump will only be able to be turned off the same way it's turned on, whether by switch or by remote.

I posted the solution over at the other place. It was actually simpler than I thought.
