Emissions Testing By The EPA?

^^Glad you made out. Sorry for the rest of us. EPA/CARB is not engaging in this process to be beneficial to diesel automakers or to those who buy these vehicles. I expect there were some pretty dour faces when your truck passed the emissions testing as I’m sure the bureaucrats were anticipating an entirely different outcome.

Well this is interesting. I just got a letter from Ford and Roush asking for my truck to do emissions testing. Ford wants to see if the emissions systems are holding up under real life driving conditions, Roush does the testing on their behalf. They offer a flat $500 and loaner. Maybe I can time it for my next oil change too.

Check with the local police to find out if your loaner is stolen like your truck has been.

I absolutely agree. If you were scammed out of possession of your truck and you voluntarily gave it to them, your insurance company could refuse to cover you on their theft insurance.

Did you get any identification from the person picking up your truck?

Sounds like Ford/Roush is being cheap compared to EPA/CARB. I’d hold out for a better offer. ��
