    If you are short enough, you can just lay on it sideways, between the humps. I can do that, but my husband can't. So, we also opted for an air mattress for guests.

    For whatever reason, the legs on the pull out section of the sofa bed are about 2" too long.
    They are a two part adjustable (not a very robust fit or quality BTW) but are still too long at the shortest adjustment.
    I took ours off, cut both halves down by 1 1/2 " and re-drilled the cross bolt hole in the outer piece to line up with another existing hole in the inner piece.
    We put a 1" piece of foam over the center and farthest back sections which are still a little low . . .
    and end up with a level and more-or-less comfortable sofa bed for guests.
    BTW, these legs place a hard metal ridge against the vinyl floor . . . we also use small pieces of carpet to cushion this interface.

    I looked at the legs and when they tightened the bolt they mashed the tubing, looks like a tough job to pull them apart. Using the air mattress wouldn't your feet still be higher than your head?
