21G radio / stereo
The radio would not tune in any stations so I put in a CD. After ejecting the CD the radio started receiving a signal and I was able to find several channels. Don't know why this allowed the radio to start working? Had to do this two different occasions / stops for the night. Any idea what's going on?

Do you have the antennae booster turned on?
Pretty sure the radio is tied into the TV antennae.

Yes the booster was powered up, because I had just been cycling through the three available TV stations when I switched to the radio. Couldn't tune any stations so inserted a CD and ejected it then radio found a station and I was able to tune in several others.
You are correct the booster must be powered to get radio reception.Larry & Paula
