I have a blank, lighted screen on my ac. I have checked breaker. Not tripped. Turned breaker off and screen remains blank and lighted. Ac not coming on. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the fuse on the back of the thermostat?

I have and it seems to be ok. I took it out screen no longer lit. Put it back in and screen lights up but nothing else.

I have. Appears good. Removed and screen goes dead. Put it back in screen lights up but still blank.

If you have 2 ACs you try swapping thermostats to determine if the problem is with the thermostat or the AC itself.

What do you have?

Do you have Coleman or Dometic ac units?

Coleman Mach. I have two. The rear thermostat also controls furnace. I have turned off the breaker and the light remains on.

The rear thermostat also controls heater. Will that make a difference?

It would appear I have a bad thermostat. This is a great place to be. Thank you very much!!! Switched it out...works!!

Swapped them...WORKS!! Thanks so much!!! Now to get a replacement.
