    mattress

Hello, the mattress that came in our 303rls 5th wheel is very uncomfortable for my wife & I. I see a lot of different replacement options that members have purchased. Does anyone have experience/thoughts on this one?

Do not know about that one. We opted for a bed in the box 9” - I think that extra inch is a cooling gel. I wish I had that mattress at home! For the price you have, you can’t go wrong.

I first tried a 2" topper and that did a little better. Opted for a Sleep Number bed (basic model) put the 2' topper on it and it's great, 2.5 years with no issues.

Did you buy the RV version or the residential version? We have a residential version at home and are considering the same for the camper.

We have a 2" latex topper. Not quite as good as our pricey home mattress but under $100

Mine is the residential version. It's just a bit too wide, but works.

We started with the original queen til we hit "bottom" night 3. Added 4" gel topper. Survived a few months...but sweated a lot on memory foam and continued to sink. Just replaced with Wilderness RV 10" coil mattress with memory foam topper. LOVE IT! Sleeping like babies. Comes compressed in box...amazing! Check out YouTube videos. Good luck.

    Lightbulb Good mattress

We bought this mattress off Amazon because it had over 9,000 reviews and 4.5 out of 5 stars.
We've been using it for over a year now and it has held up really well. It is a 2-sided mattress
so you can flip it every few months to keep it from developing low spots.
I weigh about 240 lbs spread out over six and a half feet and there is no slump on my side.
It is not plush, it's somewhat firm, but nothing like the factory brick that came in our Reflection.
That thing pinched off the blood flow it was so hard. I can depress this mattress several inches using my palm.
    I'd says on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being a marshmallow and 10 being a brick, it's about a 6.
It's about as comfortable as the Sealy mattress we paid $1600 prior to buying the camper.

    Check price on Amazon
