Air Bubbles on Rubber Roof - Reflection 337
We have had our Reflection 337 two months. I have been on the roof maybe 4 times.
The last time up, I noticed several air bubbles on the rubber roof. I've owned several
other TT's with rubber roofs and don't recall noticing this before.
Most of the bubbles seem to be located in the vicinity of the seams in the plywood
roof decking, although there are a few in other places. When I press down on the bubbles,
the rubber roof seems to then adhere to the roofing. They are not large, ranging
from quarter size to just a few inches long.
I have noticed a couple also on the roofs of the slideouts.
Is this unusual? (Photos attached)

I'm on the roof quite often. I can't say that it's unusual. I have a few bubbles on mine too. Mostly near the edges of the roof where it turns down the side but a few at the seams as well. I keep an eye on them and they don't appear to be getting any larger.

Thanks Andy & Julie -
I also noticed that a lot of the chalky powder rubbed off when I laid down to look at the slide roofs.
I wouldn't have expected that to be the case this soon. I know it happens after a few years.Ken & Wilma

Resolution:
Dealer inspected the roof yesterday (while I had it back for other issues.)
They tell me that it is normal for some air bubbles to develop, particularly near the plywood seams,
as the roofing material expands on sunny days. I can accept that, since both times I noticed the
bubbles, it was a sunny warm day. I will just regularly inspect the roof to see if the bubbles
start expanding.Ken & Wilma

Thanks for the follow-up resolution. I am always interested in knowing what suppliers/mfg's/etc. give for answers.
Hope you enjoy your Reflection for many years.2018 GD Reflections 337RLS, 2021 Ram 3500 Cummins 4x4 CC w/auto level dually, TrailAir pinbox, B&W Companion hitch, Fold-A-Cover Tonneau
