New Transcend 27bhs! Woo hoo, good-by tents!
The Mrs. and I finally pulled the trigger about a month ago and bought our first RV. We have 4 kids, so sleeping 6-7 people comfortably and without having to convert every nook cranny into a bed was the goal. We went back and forth between a Jayco and the Transcend. We chose the Transcend because the fit and finish are better and we want something that will hopefully last. The interior colors are better too. My only gripe is the grey tanks. There are two and both seem to have overly senstive sensors.
We are loving the rig, been out a few times and its amazing. Kids are loving it too, they were the the ones who had to blow up air mattresses for tents! Buying an RV was kinda like getting lasik surgery. The only regret is that we waited so long to do it!
In a few years, we will trade the bunkhouse model for a model with lazy-z-boy reclinersLast edited by RvReno; 06-21-2019 at 01:22 AM. Reason: Typo

Our kids say some of their best memories growing up were our family camping trips which got much easier when we bought a Shasta bunkhouse travel trailer. Enjoy the new RV and especially the time with your kids.

Congrats! When our kids were young I recall going to bed in the Bonair Tent trailer. The boys took one double bed, SWMBO and the daughter took the other double bed, I got the dinette table and our 110# Great Pyrenees got the floor. Nobody could move until morning and every nook and cranny was used.
Enjoy the kids and go make some memories!Judy & Larry

Congrats and enjoy. You'll get the hang of the overly sensitive tank monitors after a while.

Congrats!!! You chose the right brand! As for the sensors, they are all not very reliable no matter what manufacturer.
