GD 311 BHS owner from TX

Proud new owner of a 311 BHS. After owing a pop up and outgrowing it wife and myself decided to purchase a 5er. First time owning a 5er and decided on the 311 BHS for a lot of reasons. Bought it back in June and taking its first maiden voyage to New Braunfels, TX to float the river. We are staying at Lazy L&L campground. We are pulling it with a 2018 Silverado 2500 Duramax. There is so much to learn and will take any tips, tricks and ins and outs with open arms.

Funny, but we're in our 323BHS too--with 2 grandkids in the bunkhouse. Our campground is seeing more GD units--including a number of rental 28' slider trailers.

Welcome aboard and congrats. As many Texans as seem to be getting GD RVs I’m surprised there are any left for the other folks. Only tip I have is take your time and enjoy.
