We have three newly minted moderators this week. Whittleburner (both of them), D2Reid and traveldawg have graciously agreed to help out in this capacity and are busy learning the ins and out of daily board functions. You can give them a hand by using the report post button if you see something amiss (little triangle icon on the bottom of each post).

We’re super happy to have them on board and appreciate their stepping up to help.

Yes! Thank you to all 4 of you! Don’t envy you your job, though. Seems like most posters prefer to jump in with a question without bothering to see if there’s already a relevant thread in which they could ask. Or worse, starting a new thread right after the first because the first didn’t provide the kinds of answers they wanted (why not just add to your own thread to clarify?). Wanted to comment last week, but didn’t want to gripe or rock the boat. So, thank you for volunteering your time and effort! BTW, I like the changes and am convinced we’ll all be just fine here.

Thanks for the good comments, I was at the zoo yesterday enjoying a rare day of sunshine and didn't have a chance to reply.
We all have big shoes to fill, the previous mod team was great and we owe them all a big thanks for the time they were on the job.

Agreed! Online communities are special "living" parts of the internet. I'm a firm believer that forums thrive when you have a combination of great members managed by their peers. All the previous mods in the past have invested a lot of time to help make this community the great place it is today. Very big shoes to fill for sure!
