Refrigerator light orange?
We are home and getting ready for a trip and the light on the fridge starts green and then switches to orange. I have searched everything and nothing comes up - what is orange? Or is that red meaning we need propane? But we are hooked up to electric so why do we need propane?
Sorry - we are sorta newbies - this may be a dumb question.
Anyone???

On our norcold, the green light indicates it is running on 120 ac, and the orange means it is running on propane. If you have the switch on “auto”, the unit will change to propane when it no longer detects the 120 volts. If you were preparing to leave, and unplugged your RV from a receptacle, then it switched to propane.
As a side not, if it’s blinking orange, the fridge is trying to use propane but for some reason no propane is detected. This happens sometimes after the unit has been sitting for a while unused. You can then turn on the stove for a couple minutes. The air will be purged and the fridge and should work in propane, as long as the propane is turned on and filled.Steve & Sue (pups:Sky & Sierra) Gardnerville, Nv
