We carry a 20 ton bottle jack we picked up from Harbor Freight. A little heavy but has come in handy helping another camper change tire on motor home next to us recently. I wanted one that would have no trouble lifting truck, trailer, or truck with trailer attached!

I'd be interested in hearing what people take with them as well. Right now I have a 3-ton hydraulic jack/jack-stand combination unit and a half-circle of 3" ID pipe to use as a jack-axle adapter (Cate&Rob's unit, although mine is not as nice). I also have a 12-ton hydraulic bottle jack in the trailer (but it is not my first choice as the other option is more stable).

I carry a two ton floor jack. I also have a bottle jack but I don't prefer using it as bottle jacks seem a little unstable to me. I also carry a heavy duty battery operated impact wrench.

I've got a couple more Milwaukee M18 than other cordless brands, so I really like their powerful M18 Milwaukee 1/2" Mid-Torque 2861-21 Impact Wrench w Friction Ring
