    Landing Gear "Click"

We have a 2017 Reflection 337RLS with electric landing jacks. The driver's side has a clicking (about once per second or so) sound when lowering when not under pressure. Once pressure is applied the clicking stops, and it does not make the sound when ratracting with our without pressure on it. Has anybody had this sound, is it serious, and if serious what was done to fix it ??

    Thanks,
    Chap, Joy, and furbaby Argus

I'd look at the gearbox that connects the cross shaft. See if it's loose or loose bolts, cracked stop tabs.
If landing leg lead/worm screw was binding, could get the motor's internal clutch clicking.

    Some comments I'd read:
I had the same issue on mine and ignored the clicking sound. Well the sound went away and the landing gear failed. Come to find out the bolt that connects the landing gear shaft to the motor coupler had fallen out. Well the noise I had heard was the bolt backing out and was hitting the mount. I found the bolt and Loctite it and reinstalled. The landing gear works fine how. This bolt is short for clearance with no threads extending from the coupler just a flush fit, that is why I used loctite so it does not happen again.

So I buy this motor, but still had slipping clutch, turns out the r/h jack leg was binding, then it broke. But this motor worked great on one jack leg. I have since replaced both jacks.

I believe that your 2017 does not have the cross shaft that Gene mentions. If your unit has auto level it will have 4 independent motors. I have not heard a clicking sound from my , similar vintage , motor but will try to listen to it to see. I think you can take the top cap off of the motor to see the gearing inside.

You are correct, my unit does not have the cross bar since it has independent jacks. I will check it out further.
