I have added e track in my rig...a 385TH, not a 381. Fairly simple, lag bolts every third hole and in every hole at the ends and middles. I haul 2 900lb motorcycles and have travelled tens of thousands of miles without incident.

I just went into the wood...I from what I remember from 5 years ago, the garage floor is 1” and I used 1.25” lag bolts, pre-drilled all of the holes.

Did you mount the e-channel on top of the floor or try to counter-sink it into the floor? If on top of the floor, do you have any problems with tripping on it when you walk over the rails?

We mounted ours on top of the floor. When the bikes are out I roll out an area rug that I keep.rolled to one side of the garage when bikes are loaded. There's little bumps but no tripping or stubbimg your toes.
