Max air roof vents cover white or black
We need to get three vent covers for the new 2150rb. All plastics are black on the roof, seems we should match the black already up there? But Florida and white is always the way the go for sun and heat control?
Your thoughts? Maybe a silly answer, but I know you all have had to make this decision in the past!
Thanks

Lighting is my business. I went with black, a dark bedroom lets me sleep, bathroom has another skylight. The main room was a bit of a quandry. We got black mostly because I wasn't thinking about that at the dealers. Perhaps white would be brighter, but the black seems to help keep the rig cooler in the sun.
Not much help, but that's my story.Rick

We chose black to match the rest.

We usually go white to limit sun damage. I honestly don't know how much of a difference it really makes.

Three vents for ours. Wanted black to match the outside. Went with white for natural light. When it's dark outside no light comes in.. unless your "camping" in a well light area. We like the light and have gotten used to the zebra affect on top :-)

They make smoke colored ones as well. I have two of them and they block some of the light and go well with the rest of the stuff on the roof of my Reflection.

I did black for the bedroom and kitchen for night time darkness, I did white in the bathroom because it was taken off of my old camper before I traded it in.

Went with white for all 3 Maxxair Maxfans because I read they were cooler than smoke. Think it was on the Maxxair website? Going white as I replace parts on the roof.
In Texas any help we can get staying cool is a good thing.Jeff and Mary

Originally was going to go black, but the Camper’s World had a sale on the white ones, maybe an overstock? Regardless they were each $10 less than the black ones, so white it was. only did two, bath and bedroom. Waiting for a maxair equivalent to come on sale to do the kitchen vent.
