It was 5 years ago, I forgot we had to go to town to dump. We also dumped at Grizzly.

You should put a good dent in Yellowstone in 5 days. Focus on the things that peak your intrests. Respect the Buffalo, you're stuck if they're crossing in front of you.
We like exploring surrounding areas and often stay extra time to see all we want in the area.

    Have fun and enjoy it.

Just got back from spending the 4th there. Stayed at Rocky Mountain RV Park in Gardiner. A little tight but a nice place. Full hookups. The workers at the RV park recommended Sept or May to see everything. It was crowded with people stopping in the middle of the road and jumping out to take pictures of bears and buffalos. If there is a next time will be when the kids are in school.

We came from the east on 90. The wind was much worse than the grades for us. Billings to Boseman was constant headwinds.

We stopped in Rawlins WY to visit our niece and took 191 north off I-80 up through the Tetons and Jackson Hole (looks like a crazy fun town) . Yet another beautiful drive and not horrible with the 5th wheel in tow. Now we want to go back and play in the Tetons for a bit. Wish we had time to sneak that in on our trip but had a family wedding to get back to and the end of the trip (Glacier) was reserved.

Do not stay at the KOA in Cody, it is so tight you can't get out unless your neighbor leaves, nothing is level, poor campground IMO.

Thanks for the tip, don't like those tight ones.....thee rv's cost too much to bang up lol. We are going north & west on 90 to Billings & entering in West Yellowstone. Any info about Sioux Falls KOA or KOA in Billings?
