    LED Taillights

I'm new to the forum, so this may have already been discussed, but here goes.
Has anyone installed LED tail lights on their 5er (303RLS)? The current lights are okay, but a little too dim for my liking. E-trailer has a matched set that will work according to their technical info. But, I think they will require some sort of resistor to be wired in series with the lights. I'm not an electrician, but I can follow colored wire diagrams. Anyone had experience installing LED tail lights on these Grand Design trailers?

I think most of old timers on here have done a replacement using these in the picture. We here is not a resistor that needs to be added. There may be some trimming of the plastic depending on whether you mount vertical or horizontal. Click image for larger version.

Yep. I bought the LED version of the original tail lights.

Cut the stock wires and wired on the new. It really is that easy.

They are just like the originals, but with LED inserts.

Steve--did you replace your marker lights with LEDs, too? (If "yes", which ones?)

Yes, but just the bulbs. They are a simple wedge type.

I know that a Tucson Jim used this set off of Amazon, but I just bought these bulbs off Amazon to see how they would work.Click image for larger version.
