LED Taillights

One of the previous comments mentioned using a resistor. Did you use a resistor with you’re new LED bulbs or just plugged the new LED bulbs into the existing light? I want to change out all of my exterior bulbs and go with all LED’s but want to make sure I can just change out the bulbs alone.

Just plugged the bulbs in. The resistor comes into play with the tow vehicle. I'm currently toeing with a 2016 Ford F450. When I was towing a bumper pull toy hauler with our VW touareg twin Turbo V10 diesel, we had to use an inline resistor.
