How does the edging come off

Take out the existing black panels and cut the new brushed aluminun the same size. We actually scuffed up the old plastic with sandpaper and sprayed 3M super 90 contact adhesive on both parts and put them together. The fit right back in the same slot nicely and put the trim right back on. Pretty fast and simple process.

Just open up the door and gently pull the edging off. It is a U shaped plastic that just fits over a groove on the edges. Very simple!!
