Daylight through hole when slide closed

We have a new IMAGINE 2970RL. When the kitchen slide is closed we see daylight through a hole on the floor. That cannot be by design as it will let critters in as well as allow water in if driving in the rain. Please advise. We purchased the rig from Crestview RV and will take it in for warranty service.

I just noticed this same issue on my 2018 Imagine 2600RB. It wasn’t there before and I haven’t had time to check the cause. I’m also looking for ideas.

I had the same thing on my Reflection 297RSTS. Dealer added 4" wide weather stripping and all better. There is also a foam bumper in the corners. I had one crack and fall off just as I was parking the trailer. Dealer replaced that as well but the 4" wide weather stripping fixed it all up. Must be common because he brought out the roll, screws, scissors and didn't even have to think about it. Had all four corners done in about 5 minutes.

I just picked up my 2020 2670MK...I have a hole too. Anyone else experience this? I didn't get around the other side to look, but did anyone find holes on both sides? Mine is close to the door.

My new 2670 has the same hole, the dealership said it’s normal.

I used the copper mesh, too, between the inside front storage wall and the front cap on our 312bh. The entire width is open and mice were inside the rig within 2-3 days of bringing it home.

There is also this product that was recommended to me by a wildlife control company: https://www.amazon.com/Xcluder-Roden...xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== I haven't used it yet since the copper is working quite well. The only issue with the copper is that when stuffing it into the gap by battery disconnect switch, I got a little zap since it contacted the bare posts.
