High Pointe microwave will not shut off. Only way to stop it is to open door. Just took delivery in March. Anyone know where plug is? The second I shut door micro it starts back up. Can push buttons all you want but it keeps on running in the cold mode. Saturday AM here in Michigan UP. We are here for summer...will leave door open until GD tech support opens Monday.

The plug is likely in the cabinet right beside the microwave. That is where ours is in our reflection.

Not in cabinets on either side. Will call nearest dealer this morning and see what they can offer. Taking face plate off now and see if plug inside. Have a great day!

Does it run continuously, as in all day and all night?

I've heard the Furrion models have a delayed fan to cool everything down before shutting completely off.

First thing this morning I opened micro to heat coffee and the second I opened door it started running and I could not shut it off. I then opened door and it quit. Shut it again and it started up again. Finally 4 hours later I am able to shut door and it turned off. Called a local dealer and she said to hook up my surge protector as we could of experienced a power surge. Will see what happens over weekend. Thanks for replying.

On our 2650 the plug is behind the microwave, 4 screws and you can pull the microwave from the cabinet. Also, mine has the microwave on a separate circuit breaker. Can you find the breaker and turn it off as a temporary fix?
