Making the cell booster a little less hassle.

Installed an external coaxial plug on the rear corner.

And up to the antenna mounted on a telescoping paint roller handle that goes up to 23’. Quick and easy to run it up and just screw the cable to the new plug. No wrangling a cable and tucking it out of the way.

Nicely done. Where'd you source the cover for the external coax connector?

I just received a cell phone booster and I'm intrigued with your setup. After you ran the cable to the storage compartment did you connect to the rvs cable /satellite input and then connect the inside antenna to the TV /cable out?

How did you mount the outside antenna to the extension pole.

    NICE!

Any trouble with crosstalk between the antennas? It looks like you're using a whip antenna - what storage bay is it in? How far away from the mast antenna?
What model Surecall amp (or kit)? And - maybe most importantly - does it really improve the signal?

I know - I have a lot of questions. Sorry . I just want to do the same thing so I figured I could just learn from someone who has done this already.

I really like the idea of a paint pole.

I use the painter pole too, works great. @Maximus216 I have the antenna mounted on white PVC pipe, a couple of pieces together with the lower piece sized to simply slip three feet or so over the end of the painter pole. The PVC is stiffened inside with a broom handle which rests on the tip of the painter pole. A piece of duct tape around the lower edge of the PVC prevents the antenna from twisting off-target.

Re: crosstalk, our inside antenna for our Wilson booster is not a whip but a directional wall-mount. I put it inside the trailer directly beneath the outside antenna which is separated by at least 25 feet from it, so they are isolated by distance as well as by the directionality of both antennas (neither of them should emit much signal straight up or straight down). Nevertheless, I've found it improves our signal sometimes to put a piece of tin foil on the top of the inside antenna to further isolate it from the outside antenna above it.

Does it make a difference? Definitely. Not night-and-day, one-bar-to-four bars difference, but enough to get us connected when we otherwise could not. We only use it in that circumstance since I've read that using it to strengthen an already-workable signal doesn't always improve performance. Something to do with mobile devices using simultaneous multiple-channels at times while the booster is single-channel only, IIRC, but I'm not an expert.
