Aspen Glade NFS Campground - Colorado

We've been going to this campground most summers since I was a lad. It's 20 miles from Antonito Colorado toward Chama New Mexico. Lower level spaces are all shaded and within 20 feet from the Conejos River. I first started camping here when I was about 10 years old. Our three daughters grew up camping here and now the girls and their families (four grandchildren) still camp here. Because it is a NFS campground you have to haul your water and dry camp. There is no cell or internet service which to me is one of the advantages. The campground is managed by Scenic Canyons for the NFS. The campground hosts are normally very nice. Probably my all time favorite camping place.
