Slide Seals
I am a new owner of a 2017 Imagine 2670MK and was inspecting my slide seals. Along the horizontal seal at the top the seal appeared to be sealed along the top edge against the trailer wall with silicone sealant. The sealant was coming loose in various spots so I started pealing it off thinking to reseal it. What I discovered is the seal is not fastened to the trailer wall except at the ends where it joins the vertical seals, so it easily pulls away from the trailer wall in between the seal ends. My question is, is this correct or is my trailer missing some fasteners? And is the sealant silicone sealant or what? I want to fix the seal before it becomes a leakage issue. Thanks in advance for the advice.

The seal base with the wiper seal is usually fastened at either end with a screw, and double faced tape the rest of the way.
