Do you mind if I ask what the door cost? Did they ship to you or did you have to order thru an RV dealer? It's been a while since I read this thread, sorry if the info is in the above posts.

It wasn't cheap. I think we paid about $50US for the door and hardware. (It was more for us since we live in Canada). We thought it was worth it to have everything match. Grand Designs will not ship directly but will only do it through a dealer. Hope that helps.

Nice work, Bruce! Looks like something the factory did. We have the same space behind the TV in our 315.

Thanks. Personally I think that this is something that should come standard in every GD unit. I'm still shocked that they don't have any access to a space like this even if it is just to run wires.

Well, we finally got around the finishing the modification behind the TV to install a door to allow for access behind the TV. So I thought I'd upload a few photos to show what we did. It's nice to have the extra space.

Looks great! I'm inspired to get my door ordered. Thanks for the photos.
