Broken Sewer Pipe Hanger.

Kind of a weak point.... The strap broke at the bend where it connected to the drain pipe.

I think you’re right. There is a cable clamp there holding the gas line to the frame but I think I’ll find a separate cable clamp and screw it into where the straps was hung from the frame and use it as a place to hook to instead of the gas line hanger. Thanks for mentioning that.

Mine broke in the same place , I guess in La. on I-10. Repaired it with a heavier L bracket from my repair supplies.

I put a cable clamp on the self tapping screw where GD screwed in the metal hangar strap. I snugged the 2 cable tie straps up pretty tight to eliminate as much up and down wiggle in the sewer pipe; I think that's what caused the original metal strap to break. Not sure what I'll do when I get back home in the fall.
