Just ordered a new 10” foam mattress from Endy (same as Casper) to improve our sleeping experience. We replaced the mattresses in both our previous Keystone 5th wheels (Montana and Alpine) as well due to poor sleep quality. It’s a shame that Casper or an equal foam mattress competitor has not struck a deal with RV companies to supply mattresses. I have talked to many RVers who have thrown out the cheap factory supplied mattress and replaced it with an upgrade due to sleep comfort issues.
    When we picked up our rig we told the dealer to keep the factory mattress. We brought our own. They said, "No problem. We have a whole metal building full of mattresses." Ideally the RV manufacturers could be a bit more sustainable and not include a mattress that is going to get tossed. BYOM.

    I ordered an Endy and took delivery before my fifth wheel was delivered and love the Endy. I agree with Braidnailer.....no way to satify everyone regarding sleep comfort. the manufactuerers know 90% of us are going to toss the factory mattress.

    Although we no longer have a fifth wheel, our pre owned travel trailer came with a Select Comfort mattress with wireless remote. It’s very comfortable and allows us to tailor each side to our preference.

    We have a 337 rls and replaced our king with a residential Denver Queen. We removed the original mattress and took the plywood off the base at the hinges, and cut appropriately 3” + or - off both sides. I used a jig saw outside and it worked fine, I didn’t want to get sawdust inside the trailer.

    @GaryNK -

    The last posting in this thread was 3-1/2 years ago and it's not clear who you are asking. Here are a couple of forum tips:

    1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

    2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.

    3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

    Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

    Note: you'll need to have a paid subscription to add an image to your signature.
