Travel Trailer Brake Life Experience
How many miles did you have on your Grand Design before brake shoe replacement?
Our Imagine 2600RB has 15,000 miles on it. The brakes looked fine during the bearing repack at 12,000. They work fine. At some point, I will change to self-adjusting brake shoes.Last edited by Rivercityjeff; 07-29-2019 at 09:20 AM.

About 700 miles on the first set of brakes. About 20K on the second set of brakes. I've got about 10K miles on the third set of brakes now. The first set came from the factory covered in grease. The second set of brakes were 10" and just too small for a 10K lb trailer. The third set (now 12") has been working fine since installed but I haven't serviced them yet so I can only assume that they are ok. In any case brakes are cheap and easy to install.
