    New Momentums with 3 axles??

So is there a misprint on the website, or are the 380TH and 385TH now coming with three axles? And if so, does this mean that the current owners of these trailers have to worry that Grand Design realized that it was not a good option, and needed to go with three axles, and now we are going to have problems with axles? I am just concerned now with the recall on the spring bolts, and the fact that I had one fail, while driving down the highway.

I had a conversation with our Regional Rep last week about it.

They thought they were losing market share to brands that used 3 axles, because customers have a hard time realizing that the weight can be carried on 2 axles.

The "old" set up with 2 axles is perfectly fine, and safe.

Basically, they caved in to the masses.......

OK, I was hoping that after the bolt recall, and the fact that one did break on me, that they didn't discover that they needed 3 to properly support these beasts!! Especially since I plan on traveling a lot more then I did this year in the coming years.

    Yes, yes you are.

Thank Cyclone, Fuzion, Raptor and all the other tri-axle toyhaulers.

The question is, if you weigh your double axle 385 fully loaded, what do you get for weight on your trailer axles? (No guessing, just actual weight) If you are under 16,000 lbs. you're good.
