look around they have all kinds of tow test and videos. They have a 3/4 ton test going on between all three manufactures with gas engines.

My 15 stock gets over 18. But this is subject to driving styles. My wife gets 25 in her car but when I drive I get around 20/22 LOL
I have got 11.5 towing our 34' 5th wheel from coast to coast. There is no way a gasser will get near that. Another thing you dont want a supercharger on the 7.3 you want a turbo.

I found this on Trucktrend web site. looks promising same pass I'll be going over next month and I should be 700- 800 pounds lighter. This truck has 35" tall tires so overall gear ratio is 4.09~
The big gas Ford also performed admirably when loaded with 2,600 pounds of payload and when saddled with a 10,000-pound trailer. There was plenty of power on tap while towing up the steep Cajon Pass—even for overtaking slower vehicles. And despite the Tremor's tall stance and large tires, no one reported any drama while descending the same grade.

It does however depend on how much towing you do. Sure the truck is a beast and will tow a ton LOL but remember it will only get 6 or 7 MPG towing that much weight and I might be generous. So if you just tow 100 miles to your favorite CG 3 times a year than no big deal. But if you take that load on a 300 mile trek. Thats only 43 gallons. My truck gets 11 because it's a diesel I only use 27 gallons.
Thats the difference.

I guess when we tow over 55,000 miles we can say we should have bought a diesel. I'm not including def, fuel filters, water separators, diesel additives, and 13+ quart oil changes in my calculation. I didn't go into Bosch Cp4 fuel pump exploding either that's 10k - 15k to fix. This is about Gas trucks. I'm coming from a 2018 6.7 diesel so you're preaching to the choir about mileage.

I want to see some towing reports at higher altitude. Cajon Pass isn't that high. I want to see someone with a 10-12k camper pull Raton Pass or Monarch Pass then I will decide if I want the gasser or not
