First RV ever, 2500RL or 2600RB?

Complete newbie here. Never ever camped before. I have a Ram 1500 with hemi 5.7L with eTrq, class IV hitch, air ride, 3.92 rear axle, towing capacity 11,250lbs, GCVW 17,000lbs, payload 1780lbs, rear axle 4100lbs, I did a lot of reading on this forum and watched a lot of youtube videos. Thats all the info I have. If you have either 2500 or 2600, please tell me why you like one over the other. Thanks in advance.
Here are the major differences I have figured out so far
2600RB has a higher axle rating.
2500RL is travel friendly, dual doors
    2600RB has a beautiful bathroom.

We just bought the 2600RB because of the floor plan (bathroom layout, did not want fridge as part of slide out, closet near the entrance and for us, the bedroom door is not desired).

We initially liked the 2600, but then we saw the 2500 and I still like them both. Ultimately, we chose the 2500 due to the windows to better enjoy our scenic campsites. We have a Silverado 1500 with the 6.2, 1850 payload. It tows just it fine.

Thank you, I do like the bathroom layout. I wish they had the same layout in the middle of the rig with a smaller door so we could have a view to the back. Do you have access to the bedroom with the slide closed? Is the dinette good to sleep an adult?

That is the main reason I am comparing the two. The window at the back. There are a few more like that, 2250RK and 2450RL with the view, but somehow 2500 and 2600 feels a lot roomier. I think the slides are bigger. I haven't seen a 2600RB yet. I have been in the other three.

The 2600RB seems the biggest of the 28-29’ models because of its bigger slide. I looked at the 2500 and 2600 recently and some of my takeaways were that the the 2500 has that great view and big couch, but storage space is limited. The entertainment center is more triangle shaped and there seems to be an unusable space behind the TV. The bath vanity is also smaller than the the 2600. As mentioned the 2500 has lower capacity axles which worries me about traveling some gravel roads. Also if you will have guests the pull out couches are 70” wide in the 2500 and 60” wide in the 2600. That 60” pullout would be pretty snug for two adults.

Take a look at the Transcend 26RLS . We were set on a 2600RB until we saw the 26RLS.

I am thinking of having pull out couch option instead of theater seating. So this is really good information. Thank you. The only 2 drawback with 2600 is the view to the back and no access to the bedroom with the slide closed. I cam across this in this forum. Are the size of the electric brakes are different?

I started with this model, The only reason I decided against this is due to the extra 2 feet and the extra 1000lbs since my TV is a half ton. It is within spec but I like the extra safety. In the worst case scenario, I might just add Hensley hitch and go for this.

I’m not sure about the brakes. Mat I assume you are in Detroit as well, I was not impressed with General RV’s prices. I’m very close to striking a deal with Boyer RV in Erie,Pa. they have 3 2019 2500rl’s and 1 2019 2600rb at very strong pricing.

I’d be careful with the 26rls and 1/2 ton. Don’t trust that low factory tongue weight, given its 8500 lb gross, it quite possible to be at 1100-1200lbs on the tongue weight, you’ll want to check your hitch’s max tongue weight.

I forgot to mention those units in Erie all have theater seating so you might need to price in a $700-1000 couch off amazon.
