    3 weeks and rolling

We've been out for 3 weeks now in our 303. All I can say is WOW! The trailer has been great. About the only complaint is the fridge frosted up pretty good after 2 weeks.
I turned it down and the frost fell off easily into the drip tray below. The dogs are happy and have claimed their floor space and the bed if we let them get away with it.
The 4" memory foam we put in works, bed is still comfy.

    We had installed 2
industrial 6v batteries. Did 5 nights of dry camping on the Blue Ridge Parkway and went from 12.8 down to 11.75 by the last night. Ran the furnace in the mornings and at night
before bed and all night one night. And lights of course. Didn't need to hook up to the generator to recharge! Looks like dry camping is a non issue now. We kept the battery the trailer came with as a back up just in case.SO in all we decided to keep the 303 and keep on campin!

Sandi, dry camping is great. You get some "solitude“...hahaha...no pun intended. The sites are usually huge and far apart or
you just claim your spot out in the woods. Doubtful we'll do that with the Reflection though.
There are some changes to a few habits that need to be made, like leaving unneeded lights on or washing a ton of dishes.
LED light bulbs are a must have.
We use much more paper plates and plastic silverware.
Also those wonderful navy showers to conserve water and more importantly gray tank space depending on how many nights out.
Conserving we can get a full week out of our gray tanks.

I forgot to include we opened and closed all 3 slides on battery juice too.

Marcy, did you have water hookups available? or did you use your fresh tanks?
I usually think of dry camping as no water, no electricity, no sewer. But a friend of ours "dry camps" where there are water hook ups available sometimes.
If no water hook ups available, where you able to make a week off the fresh tanks?

Renee, we had no water hook up. Used the fresh tank. No electric no sewer. We almost made it the whole 5 days on one fresh tank but 3 dogs drink plenty of water. We ended up refilling out of a water jug another 14 gallons. The siphon feature is really nice to have.
All the holding tanks were about 2/3rds or more full . We can go a week on the holding tanks if we conserve, but not a week on the fresh water.
