Welcome to the fold, we love our 287RLTS. Oh, and if you are on Facebook, I created a group specific for our model, check it out. Still trying to get some traction, but hopefully we can get some folks sharing ideas.

Others have mentioned this but I think it needs reinforcing. Look a site over before you select it. Look for trees close to the driveway, trees that overhang the driveway, limbs sticking out in the back of the driveway, is the picnic table/fire ring on the same side as your entrance door? Is the drive wide enough so that you will be able to step down onto it, or is there an 12" drop off right under your trailer steps. Is there room to park your truck in front of or beside the trailer and still be out of the main road. Is the site so unlevel that your jacks/supports can't compensate enough to keep your trailer level? Even if you are assigned a specific site, at most parks we've been to if we did not like the site we were in, they were more than happy to change for us, if you get there before the office closes.
Good luck and have a blast!

We have experienced length limitations at national parks, such as Yellowstone. If they say 30' max length, they are accurate on the space and enforce the max length.

Our 315 RLTS is 38'-6", and we had to reserve at other locations due to length limitations at the national parks.

I see you're from PA. We've camped in a lot of PA State Parks with all our trailers. The reservation system on the web has good information about maximum unit length, driveway length, etc. With very few exceptions, we have found these to be accurate a dna good guide. As long as we picked a site that was listed as appropriate for our trailer, maximum length hasn't been a problem.

We did run into a situation in Maine earlier this year where the site maximums were very meaningful and enforced. The park upgraded us without any problem once we got the new trailer.

Take a drive through any State Park campground and see all the 30-40' motorhomes. They are in those same sites.

Do you have the web address for it? I was searching on FB and didn't see it. Thanks. Never mind. Found it. Request sent.

We park our 297RSTS in state parks all the time. No problem.

The only thing with SPs is often, they only have 30A and no sewer hookups.
