Why no filter on the furnace?

We have been looking at RV,'s for 3 years before we decided on our 2450RL that we get August 12. I asked the salesman that has been selling units for years the same question I have asked probally 6 sales people why is there no filter on the furnace of an RV, none have known why. Our SeaRay HVAC system had a filter, there's a filter in the RV ac unit why not the furnace. There is a fan drawing air and pushing it across the heat exchanger just like my home furnace so why no filter seems like a weak area that could cause problems. So any answers or a good guess?

    Thanks

Not sure other than cost savings. We had a Winnebago motorhome with a basement mounted heat pump and it had a standard household filter on the return. It also had a LP furnace with no filter.

Maybe the heat exchanger in LP furnaces gets so hot it burns off dust that comes through?? so a filter is not needed.

I think I was told if there was a filter used it would restrict the air flow enough that the heat exchanger would over heat. I also know that the farther heat ducts (registers) need all the air flow they can get just to get air out of them.
