Daytona, FL area
Anyone have any recommendations on campgrounds/RV parks near Daytona, FL (or places to keep clear of) for a week maybe two stay? Have trip in about two weeks (not something that could have been planned any earlier). Needs to be no more than about 45min or so away from the Ormond Beach area, handle a 35ft 5er with full hookups and be somewhat family friendly (we have a 3yo). Thanks!

20 Min. to Ormond Beach (and that was during Daytona Bike Week....a lot of traffic) is International RV Park. http://internationalrvdaytona.com/home/2554679
Close enough to everything yet just the other side of the freeway half a mile, from all the city traffic.SOLD my 2017 Momentum 376TH being pulled by a 2014 Ford F-350 Lariat, FX-4, Crew Cab, Longbed, Dually. Not pulling the 5er, catch me on my 2013 CVO Harley Ultra Classic.

Decided to stay at Compass RV Resort near St. Augustine, FL. Checked in yesterday - Very nice thus far. 3 different areas of the park - we are in the "Oasis" section which is newer and all sites have pavers. Great WIFI signal, very friendly staff, clean and well spaced sites for an RV park - they meet you at your RV when you drive up, and escort you to your site. There is a bus/trolley stop to get to downtown St. Augustine. A bit pricey compared to other parks, but worth it IMO.

That is a nice park and St. Augustine is a nice city to visit.
