Bumper Capacity of the Imagine 2800 BH

I would like to know the recommended weight the bumper will hold on the 2800 BH if i mounted a bolt on hitch. Was thinking of mounting up a tray and a generator @ 150lbs or at least a bike rack. Don't want the bumper falling off..

I have a 2014 293 and two bikes on the bumper, a long trip and two broken welds on the bumper attachment. I'd not trust that bumper for a genset. I'm doing a custom bumper on mine to add strength. My bumper was not fully welded, only spot welded on each side. I'd do visual of the welds before using it even for bikes.

Hi Ben (@Hunter),

Nothing can be towed behind an Imagine travel trailer. The bumper should not be modified in any way, including cutting or drilling. Bumper mounted accessories should not exceed 50 pounds total, which includes the spare tire.
