How do I unmount Tcl TV from bracket in 2020 imagine?

I'm trying to remove the tv so I can install a roku, but I'm unable to get it off. I've tried lifting up and I've looked for some sort of locking tab, but I didn't see any.

I have a 2015 350M and am having the same problem in my LR. The TV in my garage does have a tab that holds the TV in the bracket, but the front BR and the LR do not.... They all have the drop in V bracket.... Sorry I dont have more for you.

There should be a little flat piece you need to rotate on the wall bracket to clear the way for the TV bracket to lift up and out.

They don't leave you much room to peek back there so I suggest using your cellphone camera to lilluminate and get pictures of the two brackets. This should help you locate the piece you need to rotate too.

My 2019 Imagine simply lifts up from the "V" mount. I give a slight tap to the bottom of the bracket and it lifts right out.

So, how did you solve you tv amount? Never mind. In mine it lifts up and I just did lift enthusiastically enough. It's off. Now to see if it mounts properly on the new tv.

So how did you solve the problem? I seem to be having the same issue!

The piece that is bolted to the TV sometimes needs a little bump with a hammer. Obviously, you need to be careful doing this. My suggestion is to have one person appling upward pressure or lift of the TV and someone else with a hammer and a fairly thing piece of wood to tap the part that is attached to the TV. They can be pretty tight sometimes.

Ok. Got it. I try to be gentle , but here needed a bit of vigor. Allmiz well. Connections for cables will require some hacksaw work positions are different in different brands, naturally..

I swapped the TCL for a smart Samsung last weekend.
TV and V bracket lifted right off mount. Removed the flat metal plate off the TCL.
The holes in plate were smaller than the Samsung holes. Had to file 4 holes larger so screws would fit.
I had to move mount on wall a couple of inches (This is probably GD model specific.)
Got to watch the NASCAR race on Wed. night and all is well.
    I hope this helps someone.
