Pantry LED mod
I looked at Jayco pretty hard before purchasing a 337. One thing i noticed in the Jayco was the lighting in the pantry. It was a LED strip that went down to the floor and lit up every shelf. The GD just has one light at the top and its pretty useless for the other shelves. So i purchased a $10 dollar LED strip and soldered it into the existing motion sensor. The motion sensor is only 12 volts so i was able to solder directly into it. Turned out great. Here are the pics.
If you don't want to solder, you can order a motion sensor for LED lights on Amazon. Here are the links.

I like the modification. Just wandering if you could put the strip light down both sides to balance the lighting. It will be own my to-do list. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I was going to do that but changed my mine after I saw how well it lit everything up. I had plenty of led strip left over.

Looks great. Left overs are going in the garage.

Thanks for this post, I put in a couple battery powered motion sensing strips. They work but batteries die pretty quick.

So after you cut the strip, how do you connect wires to use the rest of it?

Mine was 16' with two wires on each end. I cut it in half and used the wires.
There are Youtube videos on how to do it, like this one.
