    Slide question; Reflection series TT

Hi all, when putting our slide out and in, should we be hearing the "click, click, click" noise both ways at the end of the cycle? (Rack and pinion type) I swear I only hear it on the way out.

Yes, it clicks in and out. I let go of the button at the sound of the first click.

Thanks! I thought that's what I had heard them say but I can't remember hearing the click when we put it in.

Yes this is normal. I stop it as soon as I hear the clicking as it is the clutch engaging. It does it both in and out.

It is normal to hear it, but you may not hear it every time.

So I just hooked it up to shore power and put it out. click click . Put it in until it stopped and let it run 5 to 10 seconds more and no click click. So the next question is....Is the slide suppose to be flush with the trailer outer wall? I've got at least a finger breadth of room on certain sections of the slide. I can feel rubber seals at points but thinking this should be flush? Sorry, new at this.Click image for larger version.

They all look fine to me.

It's impossible to get it flush as the flange has to be outside the wall.

As long as the seals are compressed, you are good.
