    Entry Door Glass Replacement

I would like to replace the glass in the entry door of my 320MKS. I want to ditch the untinted frosted glass and replace it with dark tinted clearview glass to match the other windows on my rig. The frame size is approximately 15 inches X 24 inches. I see ads for the smaller entry door glass but have not found anything in the size used on my Reflection.

Also does anyone know how to remove the frame to access the glass pane? There are no screws on the inside frame like many RV’s have. If I cannot find the replacement glass I am looking for on line, I could go to my local glass dealer and have a piece custom made to fit if I can safely remove and reinstall the existing frame.Click image for larger version.

Yes but it is sized to fit a smaller window. Won’t work on my rig

We just replaced ours in our 376 TH two nights ago and it took about 15 minutes. Easy, easy project!

Parts received yesterday from Lippert. The frame removal kit is a bit overpriced IMHO for sixteen plastic wedges and no instructions as to their proper use. The glass was perfect size and tint. You insert the wedges between the window frame and the door on the inside. If you insert and push in a wedge and it does not go in then move over a little and try again. There are sixteen specific places where the wedges will push in. Two on each corner and two more on each side. Once all wedges are in the frame will begin to loosen and then can be pulled away by hand. Be very careful that the glass does not fall out. There is a bead of silicone like material as a water seal that the glass contacts. If you are careful when removing the original glass you can reuse the original seal material. Once the new glass is in position you really need two people to finish the installation. I taped the outside window frame to the door to help hold it in position and prevent it from being pushed out when snapping the inside window frame back in and as an extra measure I had my wife gently push on the outside window frame while I applied pressure on the inside window frame to snap it back in. All went well and we are very pleased with the result. The dark glass allows you to see out when someone comes knocking. And does a really good job of privacy even with lights on inside.

When we were at the National rally a few years back ,the first one that was at the fairgrounds there was a vendor selling stained glass windows and we got one. But we have the old school window with screws so it was easy. It knocks down the light coming in and there are some pieces of glass you can see through to peek at the doorstep. For those that will be at this years rally he will be there again, if you're interested.

LCI also sells a direct replacement kit (similar to AP Products on Amazon) with a thin shade incorporated. LCI# 806621. ~$85

Advantage to the LCI kit is: it includes the release tool AND the size of the outer window frame is exactly the same as the OEM LCI you are removing. This is important for those with Full Body Paint.
