Extended Warranty
We have a 2014 SOLITUDE. Contemplating a Good Sam extended warranty at the cost of $3200 with a $300 deductable for 6 years. We hear feedback on both sides of pro & against. Any feedback for the grand design owners?
Also has anyone found a good cover for the solitude? Adco largest will not fit as it only goes to 40' and ours is 41'.

Great Escape,
I found the Good Sams Extended Warranty a little pricey for me. My dealer was selling the same coverage Listed as Diamond Coverage for 84 months for <$2400.00 with a 100 dollar deductable and they cover mobile techs service calls up to $100. Here is the contact information for the company if you are interested in checking them out. They will also allow you to put 10% down and charge the rest on a credit card monthly.

I bought my extended warranty from the dealer and it was less expensive than Good Sam with a $50 deductible. I think the warranty is definitely worth it have had them in the past and never lost on one yet .Check with the dealer they may be more reasonable I have found Good Sam to be pricey and they don't cover anymore than any other plan.

If you buy one, need to make sure it has Consequential damage coverage. Example; you blow a line going to AC and it kills your AC unit and need a new one, if you do not have this coverage they could refuse to replace AC unit and only fix hose if you have hoses covered. And AC units are not cheap with you having to pay for install. Thought I would bring this up.
