looking to replace our tires

Hi Brian,

Wheel lug nuts are 3/4" or 19 mm. Make sure that you get a 6 point socket. The 12 point version will tear the chrome cover off the lug nut, leaving you with an oddball size. 19 mm is slightly smaller than 3/4" and will be a better fit to the lug nuts even if they are a little worn. BTW, wheel nut torque is well into 1/2" torque wrench range. A 3/8" drive torque wrench will be too small.

Hi Brian . . . do you have a Lippert Chassis manual See page 66.
Spec is 90 - 120 ft lbs, tightened in three equal steps following recommended pattern.
It is rather odd to have such a wide final torque spec. I use 105 ft lbs (the mid point of the spec range)
Remember to re-check after about 30 kms.

we are looking to replace our tires, for our 5er reflection 337. My husband went to the tire shop and they recommended Hercules ST235/80R16/14, has anyone put Hercules ST's on their trailer?? are they any good? I see they are made in China. Not crazy about that at all!! We definitely want G rated tires but also what a tire that doesn't add to the bumpy ride on the roads.

My tire man services tires for tractor trailers. He recommended Hercules also. He showed me one. I was impressed. It was very heavy and solidly built compared to other ST tires he had. When I buy new tires I will step up to these.
