That is the way to go. I did the same thing this year with a 2019 F350 diesel fully loaded $79k msrp.
Then bought 2020 GD 310 GK, Andersen Ultimate hitch, which I love. But between the two it is lots of money.
But can't take it with you.

Sounds like a nice setup! My only problem right now is the state of Maryland. If you have a RV combination of over 26,000 pounds you must have a non-commercial class A drivers license. That means taking a test in a vehicle that is over 26,000 and proving you can run safety checks, drive, and perform offset backing. You need to get a learners permit, wait two weeks, and you must be accompanied by someone that either has a class A license or a CDL to show up for the test. I could not even drive the rig without that learners and that person. What a pain!
