    I have to disagree with that! Spam, the regular flavor, was one of our cherished alternatives to C-Rat's while on deployments (that and Dinty Moore Beef Stew). Nothing like Spam and eggs for breakfast, even now! Toward the end of a long deployment, a can of Spam was worth its weight in gold.

    But the C-Rat version was terrible. We would trade almost anything to not get it. I grew to hate spam because of it. Can't even stand the smell of it. THe dinty Moore would have been great - but we didn't have it.
