New to Grand Design

Hello we got our Solitude 310GK-R an upgrade from our travel trailer and we couldn’t be happier except learning about fifth wheels, and were learning a lot. Our first time out we needed to pull over for our dog, I thought hubby saw sign hanging and he’d pull into lot, boy was I wrong! We ripped the awning with a few scuff marks. On the day we were taking in for repair we hooked up got to end of driveway starting to pull out fifth wheel unhooked. What a mess now we’ve got two claims on rv and we’re waiting for an awning part to come in and we’ll get it back. Our truck goes in the 26 for its damage. So I’ve joined just to learn tricks from you all so we can learn and get some special hints.
