    Sanitizing water tank...

    Hi all,
Getting ready to sanitize our water system today. I'm assuming it's ok, once using the a 5 gal jug of the Clorox water with the Sanitize setting, to use the city water fill tank setting to complete the filling of the tank. Seem odd to me that I'd have to run back and forth filling up my 3 5 gallon jugs and continue using the sanitize setting....(LOL, don't laugh, I'm new at this ). Also assuming I should drain the water tank that was filled last weekend during a one night hook up at the dealer.

Your description is how I do it. Then, once the tank is full, I switch the Nautilus to "Dry Camping" and use the pump to fill the water heater and run the solution through all the fixtures.

Thanks DBH. Any tips on getting that water heater drain plug out?

1/2" drive socket wrench with socket that fits hex end on plug/anode rod, 3/4", 7/8"?? It will come right out with a little leverage.

Dont forget to also use a small 1/2 drive extension. [emoji6]

I have the Suburban (with the anode rod) and this socket fits perfectly on mine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I do use an extension and it makes it a simple task.

Just be certain to fill the tank with water again before you turn the heater back on; the electric element will be ruined in less than a minute; ask me how i know.
